The injuries are just racking up right now. Caron Butler and Devin Harris are out for the week, Rip and Sheed are now out longer than expected, JO is out with a hip injury, and Larry Hughes has gone from fantasy hero to being day to day with a toe injury. That’s a lot of stats in week where many of you are probably in the playoffs. All that being said, the injuries are opening the door for some stats from some unlikely directions. Let’s check out who actually IS playing right now… Read More »
Fellas (and to the two ladies that are reading my fantasy column), my bad on last week. Work roadtrip and it was a little hectic to say the least. That being said, did you think I’d let you down on lineup Monday? It’s week 22 and playoff lineups are due. Let’s get at it. Read More »
In our League, week 21 (now) begins the playoffs. Whether the playoffs have begun or you’re just in the middle of the stretch, make sure you don’t get a guy in the lineup who is only playing twice this week when there’s someone with four games on the bench. Toronto, Utah, Miami, New Orleans, Milwaukee, and Phoenix play twice, while Charlotte, Portland, Memphis, Boston and Washington all play four times. Here are two key factors in finishing the job that started 21 weeks ago:

Forget LeBron’s 51 and Kobe’s absurd all around line for a second - how about my man Leon’s 30, 11 and 5! I highlighted him as a great pick up this week and boy was I right. You’ll get one more Powe week until KG is due back. Enjoy it.

As much as I loved the Eric Gordon return (we’ll get there in a second), we’re giving last night’s Fantasy MVP to the big German. Sure he didn’t hit any threes, but Dirk went for 34 points, 9 boards, 7 assists and 2 blocks. There is a whole lot to go over on this clock moving Sunday. Here we go. Read More »
I could literally give Dwyane Wade the fantasy MVP just about every time he plays at this point. Wade was ridiculous again yesterday and although he once again was a turnover machine (8) he scored 42 points on an insane 74% from the field. That’s unheard of for a guard. He also had 8 assists, 6 boards, and 3 threes. Wade’s playing on a level that we’ve never seen from him. That being said, there were a number of fantasy standouts yesterday and things to watch out for. Read More »
The T-Murph Express keeps chugging along. Troy Murphy’s Fantasy MVP line last was 23 points, 4 threes, 10 boards, 6 dimes, and 2 blocks. He also shot 66.7% from the field and was perfect from the line. He’ll be a fantasy trade deadline conversation piece for sure. He’s not a keeper so if you’re out, move him. Here are the other players you should be concerning yourself with today. Read More »
