Reggie Jackson Will Look To Deals Of Hayward, Parsons For Next Contract

Reggie Jackson

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Reggie Jackson says he isn’t too concerned about signing a contract extension before October 31 or entering restricted free agency next summer. That he’s looking to the newly-signed contracts of Gordon Hayward and Chandler Parsons for guidance in future negotiations, though, certainly doesn’t bode well for the Thunder. Read More »

5 GIFS To Show Why Team USA Should Be Leery Of Spain In FIBA Basketball World Cup

Serge Ibaka, Marc Gasol

Spain is the biggest obstacle standing in the way of the USA team repeating as World Champions. Spain’s got a lot going for them, but these five GIFs do a good job explaining why their on-court product should have Coach K and his assistants weary at the prospect of facing them, most likely in the single-elimination round, or the Finals. Jerry Colangelo Says This American Team Is “By Far” Better Than 2010′s

Kenneth Faried (photo. USA Basketball Twitter)

This World Cup squad isn’t the one USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo envisioned before this summer. 2012 Olympians Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love and Team USA locks Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge all elected against representing their country before training camp began in late July. After Paul George’s devastating injury and Kevin Durant’s subsequent departure just days later, the United States bore barely passing resemblance to the group Colangelo and coach Mike Krzyzewski thought they’d field in Spain.
