It’s great to have you back, Nick Young. After helping the Los Angeles Lakers to 54 percent shooting in their 114-109 road win over the Atlanta Hawks in his 2014-2015 debut, Swaggy P said what we all were thinking: “It’s like my swag just rubbed off on everybody.” Read More »

Pau Gasol definitely knows how to COUNT THE RINGZZZZZ. Before the Chicago Bulls beat the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center last night while Gasol was sidelined, the former Los Angeles Laker said that L.A. would “always be a Lakers city.” Read More »

Chris Paul Says Home Loss To Bulls “Somewhat Felt Like A Road Game”

Chris Paul, Kirk Hinrich

Home court advantage is important in sports; Chris Paul doesn’t believe the Los Angeles Clippers have much of one at all. After his team lost to the Chicago Bulls 105-89 at Staples Center on Monday night, Paul said the game “somewhat felt like” it was played on the road. Read More »

GIF: Doc Rivers Is Shocked…Movember Edition

Doc Rivers

The Clippers got romped last night, and Doc Rivers was shocked by a call/play in the fourth. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive, obviously, but since Doc joined his players in celebrating men’s health for Movember, the LA coach’s bewildered expression plus plus that thin, John Waters mustache made it all the more hilarious as the good folks on reddit’s r/NBA community show. Russell Westbrook Denies Recruiting Efforts Of Lakers Fan: “Go Back To LA”

Russell Westbrook

If only a Washington Wizards follower would test Kevin Durant the same way. Kevin Durant Repeatedly Tells Dwight Howard, “You’re A Pu**y”

Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant

Last night’s Thunder-Rockets game was ugly. Houston scored 24 points in the first quarter, and it was the only time either time exceeded 20 points in a quarter; Houston then scored only nine in the third session. The Rockets did, however, get the win when James Harden hit a huge step-back three-pointer with 1:19 remaining to give them a 68-65 advantage they never relinquished. The ugliness of the game mirrored the junk Kevin Durant was slinging towards Dwight Howard from the sidelines. Read More »

Worse Air Ball: JaVale McGee Free Throw, Or Travis Wear Putback?

JaVale McGee Air Ball

The Knicks outscored the Nuggets 31-8 in the second quarter on Sunday. During that second quarter stomping that led to a 109-93 win at the Garden — snapping a seven-game losing streak for the Knicks — JaVale McGee suffered the mortifying shame of the air ball on a free throw attempt. Except, that might not have been the worst air ball of the day, as Knicks rookie sub Travis Wear did his best to one-up McGee. Read More »

Watch Lance Stephenson Get Slapped…By Himself

Lance Stephenson

The best part about this is how upset Lance Stephenson first appeared, like he was about to go after Harrison Barnes. Stephenson took a shot the face trying to get around a Barnes screen to stay with a hot-shooting Klay Thompson, but — as he tongued whatever gash opened in his mouth after suffering the slap, it became apparent he had no one to blame but himself. Steve Nash Won’t Return Calls From The Lakers

Steve Nash

Last month the Lakers made the decision to sit Steve Nash down for the season. Recurring back problems, as well as a host of other maladies for the 40 year old, forced the Lakers to move on without the two-time MVP. Except, rather than act as a mentor for some of the younger Lakers, Nash has disappeared, and coach Byron Scott would like to hear from him. Read More »
