As we wrote earlier, Deuce Bello took the crown as the winner of the 2010 Under Armour Slam Dunk Contest at the Boost Mobile Elite 24 in Venice Beach, Calif. this weekend. Brandon Jennings thinks he’s bananas. Need we say more?
For the past four years, the Boost Mobile Elite 24 has been able to bring in two-dozen of the country’s best high school ballers – no matter the grade level – to its annual all-star event at Rucker Park in Harlem. Check out the Top 10 plays from the Boost Mobile Elite 24‘s secret midnight run at HAX featuring, amongst others, Jennings, Wall, Tyreke Evans, DeMar DeRozan, Bobby Brown, Adonis Thomas and Austin Rivers.
Last year, when the Boost Mobile Elite 24 was still in NYC, they held a secret midnight run at MSG so all the players could ball with Brandon Jennings and Kevin Love. This year, now that they’ve moved out to L.A., they were burning the midnight oil at HAX. While Tyreke Evans, DeMar DeRozan, Bobby Brown and Jay Williams were all in attendance, it was Elite 24 coaches Jennings and John Wall that were making the highlights.
