He’s always gotten criticized for his offensive game, but he does dunk very effectively. Last season, he led the league with 227 crams. Read More »

Whoever has the job of producing We’re Not So Bad: The Story of the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers has some tough editing decisions following last night’s loss to the Miami Heat. This was clearly the Cavs’ defining game of the year, and barring a surprise playoff appearance, the one night when they would have millions of eyes on them. When recounting the Cavs’ story, do you just act like this never happened, or stomach the carnage? … Read More »

There’s a good chance we won’t know what really happened between Rajon Rondo and the USA Basketball decision-makers until during the NBA season; the next time Rondo goes head-to-head with Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Chauncey Billups or Stephen Curry. Soon after Rondo talked to reporters as if he thought he might be cut from the World Championship roster, it was announced that Rondo pulled himself out of consideration due to the always-mysterious “family matters.” … Before the Spain game, everything seemed cool. And I think that within the next two or three years, he will easily be one of the top three players in the NBA. He’s that good.” After his streak of 29 straight games with at least 25 points ended in late February, this got people thinking: Who leads the way on the NBA’s Anti-Kevin Durant Team? Check it out. As a personal purveyor of the beard, I have a special affinity towards players that rock ‘em on the court. So that’s why I was so excited to see James Harden tweet the following question last week: In the NBA what’s yall top 5 all beard team by position? At first you think this might be easy, but it’s the by position that makes it hard. Here we go… Read More »

So Cleveland got their guy. Not that guy, but still a big trade nonetheless. According to the Washington Post‘s Michael Lee, and the NY Post‘s Peter Vecsey, the Cavaliers, Clippers and Wizards are in the midst of completing a three-way trade that sends Antawn Jamison and Sebastian Telfair to Cleveland, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Al Thornton, Brian Skinner and a first round draft pick from the Cavs to Washington and Drew Gooden to Los Angeles.
