Jrue Holiday

Quick. Everyone start offering the NBA suggestions for what would be a better way than playing a Game 7 to decide this Boston/Philly series. A coin flip? A three-point shootout between Elton Brand and Ryan Hollins? A one-on-one game between Doc Rivers and Doug Collins? How about we just show it on tape delay like they used to do back in the day? We’re not sure anyone is looking forward to it, not even fans in the Northeast. But here we are. Read More »

Video: The Heat Get Revenge On Lance Stephenson

Dexter Pittman

Between Juwan Howard sizing him up in a pre-game shootaround, and then Dexter Pittman lining him up and decking him in the closing seconds of Game 5, I’d say the Heat were just a little pissed off about Lance Stephenson flashing the choke sign at LeBron James earlier in the series. Read More »

If you’re a fan of Jackie Moon and Semi-Pro, then you’re going to love this. The Miami Heat‘s shortcomings last season were well-documented. That said, it should do nothing to diminish the fact that this time has some serious fantasy firepower. Aside from the Big Three, there is some residual value to be had on this squad. Whenever the NBA starts up again, fantasy owners would do well to keep a close eye on which players the Heat adds to its roster, and which of its free agents it chooses to re-sign. It’s very possible that this team will have a whole new batch of role players once its retooling is over with. Read More »

Cole World: D-League Showcase, Ibaka’s Dunk Contest & A Blender

Cole Aldrich

After an outstanding three-year career at Kansas, which included a 2008 NCAA Championship and three Big 12 titles during his tenure, Cole Aldrich was a Lottery pick this June. First selected by the Hornets before being trading to the Thunder on Draft Night, the Bloomington, Minn., native gladly returned to the Midwest. So with everyone’s expectations for the Thunder going through the roof this season, we decided there was no one better to turn to for the inside scoop on life in OKC. In his fifth entry, Cole talks about the D-League Showcase, Serge Ibaka in the dunk contest and his best Christmas gift. Read More »

LeBron James is Suffering From a Broken Heart

LeBron James

LeBron James says he’s “heartbroken,” but it has nothing to do with being Public Enemy No. 1 in every NBA arena not located in Miami. Instead, James is moved because one of his best friends on the Heat, rookie Dexter Pittman was sent to the D-League this morning. FoxSportsFlorida.com’s Chris Perkins spoke to both Pittman and James and got some (melodramatic) quotes from the pair: Read More »
