Jamal Crawford Dropped 44 Points And The Game-Winning Jumper At The Seattle Pro-Am

Jamal Crawford is a three-time Sixth Man of the Year (although whether or not he deserved his win this past season is up for debate) known for his dribbling skills and his long-range shooting. He’s also a Seattle native who occasionally makes his way back to his home city to participate in the Seattle Pro-Am, a local summer competition that has drawn NBA players on the occasion. Crawford came up big in a recent game, dropping 44 points and hitting the game-winning jumper.

Crawford, and his team Brandblack, were taking on Clover Fitness. Unsurprisingly, Crawford shouldered the load for his team. Mostly, he seemed to be pulling up from beyond the arc, draining shot after shot, but we also get to see some of his handles, and a couple nice passes are included in the highlight video as well.

However, despite Crawford exploding for 44 points, the game still went down to the wire, where Crawford drained another long-range shot to win the game. Obviously, Crawford is an NBA player, and a successful one at that, so it shouldn’t be surprising that he was able to notch over 40 points in a Pro-Am. Still, local fans got to see a hometown boy have a big game, and Seattleites got to see an NBA player in action, which isn’t something they’ve been able to do much of in recent years.
