If I wasn’t so out of touch with reality, I probably would’ve started hating on Watch The Throne. Twitter sunk into a listening/slobbering session for nearly 72 hours, and the predictable response from the public came pouring out:

Back in high school, the warm-up mix always had to be on point. We used to argue over the songs, sometimes had trouble landing edited versions and even had one kid constantly try to sneak his own tape over to the guys running it. It was a never-ending argument. I still remember coming out my senior year to T.I.‘s “Bring Em Out” which would seem appropriate, except that I never liked that song. If you know anything at all about the NBA, you should’ve seen this coming. Up until last night’s All-Star Game, the weekend had been all about Blake Griffin. And even though Kobe Bryantsaid the rookie could have Los Angeles, we all knew better. There was no way Kobe would let the All-Star stage come and go, especially in his city, without grabbing the spotlight … Bryant (37 points, 14 rebounds) went H.A.M. in the first three quarters, staking his claim to a record-tying fourth All-Star MVP award (Bob Pettit has four) while the West built a lead they would never relinquish. Of all the tracks on Kanye West‘s latest album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, “All Of The Lights” is by far my favorite. So after watching some dunk highlights, check out this amazing music video directed by Hype Williams and featuring Rihanna and Kid Cudi. There are tons of rumors swirling around L.A. that Kanye will making a special performance tonight at the All-Star Game. Hopefully it’s this song.

This past weekend, I was in L.A. with the fam from Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear to check out everything they have planned for NBA All-Star Weekend. And while there are a lot of things I can’t tell you, this much I can: It’s going to be ridiculous!
