Zach Randolph doesn’t hold back when it comes to Blake Griffin. The two have a history of very physical play in the playoffs, and more often than not, the intensity spills out of bounds. Read More »

This is a quite a sequence for Kendrick Perkins. First he unnecessarily mauls Francisco Garcia on screen and then gets tangled up with him. Perk then exchanges shoves with Omer Asik, earning a technical foul in the process. Finally, as the refs are sorting through the havoc that he created, Perk celebrates/blows off steam by hitting the floor and doing pushups.
Rockets fans are not pleased with his act: Read More »

Here’s the new reality: Do not make Nate Robinson angry; you will not like him when he’s angry. C.J. Watson got Nate angry in the first half of yesterday’s incredible triple-OT Bulls/Nets game with this altercation that very nearly erupted in an all-out brawl (and sent Robinson to the locker room to clean up a cut), sowing the seeds for an all-time Nate eruption later in the game: Read More »

If you ask Brandon Jennings, he probably still thinks Milwaukee is winning in seven games. Everyone else? They know this series is over, especially after the Heat’s predictable shutdown second half in their 104-91 win to take a 3-0 lead. LeBron scored 22, Dwyane Wade had one of the oddest statlines (1-for-12 shooting, four points, 11 assists, nine rebounds, five steals and two blocks) you’ll ever see, and Ray Allen came off the pine smoking. OK, so not really. No one is ever going to call Kendrick Perkins a smooth operator on offense (and we crack up every time we see him shoot ever since one of our friends pointed out that he shoots jumpers like Tom Cruise in the Oblivion trailer – 1:23).
But last night he was pretty impressive leading the break and tossing an oop to Serge Ibaka: Read More »

Everyone claims they have the answers for the Lakers problems this year. But there’s one that’s stumped Hollywood for over a decade: what to do with Tony Parker. In San Antonio’s wild three-point win over the Lakers, Parker looked like he was running his own pick-n-roll drill, and barely broke a sweat on his way to 24 points and six dimes. The Spurs needed all of that, as they nearly let a 17-point lead slip away before Manu Ginobili (19 points, eight rebounds) hit the biggest shot of the night: a wing triple in the final minute. The last time James Harden played against his old team, he had a nightmare game, a half dozen of his shots blocked back into his face. This time, he made his first shot in Kevin Durant‘s face, and was good enough to drop 25 points (still only 9-for-33 shooting against OKC this year). But while the first half played out like a tape from the old And1 video game, the second half became a mismatch, and the Thunder went on to win 124-94. Read More »

Even though the Thunder’s hulking center has a reputation for toughness on the court that sometimes mimics his terrifying countenance, off the court he’s turned into a bit of a mentor for the Oklahoma City Thunder. This current Thunder team might be perennial championship contenders out of the West, but they’re also still in their salad days, and Kendrick Perkins‘ defense and toughness in the paint isn’t the only attribute he brings to their squad.
