The word bust is often thrown around like dirty laundry. It’s common to knock high draft picks that don’t immediately produce after their first year or two in the league. It’s normal.
Derrick Williams had an uninspiring rookie campaign, averaging just 8.8 points and 4.7 rebounds in 21.5 minutes per game. Read More »

We fell asleep at some point in the third quarter, and when we woke to see the Lakers were back in it, we thought it was an entirely different game. In a way, it was. L.A. overcame a 25-point deficit in New Orleans last night to beat the Hornets, 108-102. They scored the game’s last 20 points, and held the hosts scoreless for the final 6:47. It felt more like a month. Read More »

You may have seen this clip making the rounds today, but here it is for you. Last night the Miami Heat rolled the Minnesota Timberwolves on their home floor last night, and at least one of the T-Wolves couldn’t take it any more and snapped. Read More »

It wasn’t exactly reaching Malice at the Palace levels, but the brawl that spilled into the stands last night during Indiana’s 108-97 win over the Warriors will certainly result in some special spankings from the league office. And you’re never gonna believe this, but David West was right in the middle of it. Read More »

Attention Kenyon Martin shoppers. Your power forward is ready for pickup. The 12-year vet, with career averages of 13 points and 7.1 boards, claims he’s ready to take advantage of whatever opportunity comes his way at the age of 34. Earlier this season, the big fella out of Cincinnati made it known how eager he is to find a new home. Read More »

“How about LeBron James? Twenty-seven points, eight rebounds, eight assists. Another average game for LeBron James.” That was an actual statement made on Miami’s broadcast. James would go on to finish with 31 points in the Heat’s five-point win over the Bobcats, but we cracked up laughing upon hearing that comment. Dude is so good that we’re talking like 27/8/8 is a regular night. In truth, this one really wasn’t average for the King. Read More »
