Report: Pierce Says Wizards Opponents Will “Get Beaten Up” At Verizon Center

Paul Pierce

Paul Pierce admitted that it was strange wearing different colors than Boston Celtics green and gold last season. Now playing for his third team in as many years and without long-time teammate Kevin Garnett by his side for the first time since 2007, Washington Wizards red and blue surely feels just as weird if not more so than Brooklyn Nets black and white. We had a chance to speak with some of the newest players in the NBA last week during the 2013 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot as part of the four-day Rookie Transition Program that wrapped last Friday. While we enjoyed some of the high-jinks during the all-day affair, we also had to talk over a thrumming bass line as hip hop blared in the background for most of the day.

Either way, an adjustment period is expected for all. Read More »

Anthony Bennett

The 2013 NBA Draft was shocking to say the least, with two of it’s projected top picks (Nerlens Noel and Ben McLemore) dropping out of the top five. It takes a lot for rookies to have fantasy value right away, but like always, anything is possible in due time. Read More »

Dime Mock Draft 5.0: Ben McLemore Slides Out Of The Top 5 Picks

Ben McLemore

Does this draft class suck? Well, more than a few “experts” maintain it’s not one of the best you’ll ever see. That being said, we don’t really know what’ll happen until these young fellas get drafted and hit the floor. There are plenty of teams that could use Ben McLemore or Anthony Bennett or Alex Len. Now, after the lottery, we have a better grip on which teams will get them. Read More »
