Back in 2006, Shane Battier was one of the first NBA players to sign with Chinese sneaker company, PEAK, and since then many players like JaVale McGee and Kyle Lowry have also signed on with the company. We’re always on the lookout for some dope new gear, and Peak has been threatening to break down the doors in this country for a while. Now, they’ve done it. It doesn’t get too much better than having a JaVale McGee lockout diary. Amazingly, for all of the funny stuff he’s been known to do, in Part 1 that we showed y’all earlier this month, it was mostly about running on the beach and shedding light on McGee’s tattoos. When you interact with NBA players for a living, it’s easy to figure out who’s real and who’s not. Make no mistake, JaVale McGee is as real as it gets. With that, watch as Pierre shows you his beach workout, his business tats and his matte black 2011 Chevy Tahoe.

On Thursday, I had the chance to visit the offices of PEAK here in L.A. Check ‘em out: Read More »
When you’re going up against Blake Griffin, you gotta do whatever it takes. For JaVale McGee, that means a different pair of kicks for every dunk he attempts tonight. Among the five pairs of PEAK shoes specially designed for McGee, without a doubt the coolest one is the Wolverine-inspired design. Check out all five pairs after the jump. Read More »
After signing with Golden State this summer, Dorell Wright has taken his game to a whole new level – a level that should include Most Improved Player Award consideration. He’s started all 40 games for the Warriors so far this season, and is averaging 16.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Maybe it’s the shoes? Since Christmas, Wright has started wearing PEAK and has gone for 27 or more points five times. Check out what he’s been wearing after the jump. Read More »
