Video: Adorable Little Girl Recites Allen Iverson’s Infamous “Practice” Rant

Maggie, Allen Iverson

It was over 12 years ago that the Philadelphia 76ers’ Allen Iverson – who Kevin Durant recently dubbed “pound-for-pound the best” – ended his season in ridiculously quotable fashion by going on, and on, and on about practice. The original video is awesome, and certainly worthy of your time. Far more entertaining, though, is this adorable little girl’s take on The Answer’s rant. Read More »

The Philadelphia 76ers big man turned to the pop superstar after striking out with Kim Kardashian, getting her to follow him on Twitter at the very least – and depending on whom or what you want to believe, perhaps more. Reviewing The Sam Hinkie Era In Philadelphia

Sam Hinkie

It seems as though Sam Hinkie is almost done stripping down the team he took over after the 2012-13 NBA season. With Thaddeus Young officially traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the only player remaining on the Philadelphia 76ers roster, who was also on the roster when Hinkie took over, is — you guessed it — Jason Richardson. With Thad gone, it’s now official to say this is a Sixers team, with the exception of J-Rich, completely built by Hinkie, and it’s not a very good one, at least not yet. Read More »

Sixers GM, Sam Hinkie, Doesn’t Know If Joel Embiid Will Play Next Season

Joel Embiid

By now we all know the story behind Joel Embiid‘s roller-coaster entry into the NBA. Philadelphia’s GM, Sam Hinkie, swooped in to snag Embiid with the No. 3 pick, and now we’re here — with many Sixers fans holding back any enthusiasm for the selection until Embiid actually trots out on the hardwood.
