Local Houston TV Station Uses NBA 2K15 Pic Of Troy Daniels To Report Trade

Troy Daniels

Yesterday’s trade sending Corey Brewer from the Timberwolves to the Rockets included Houston’s brief hero from last year’s playoffs, Troy Daniels. The sharpshooter was dealt to Houston in the exchange for Daniels and a draft pick in a three-team exchange that also included the 76ers’ Alexey Shved going to Houston and Ronny Turiaf going to Philadelphia. One local Houston station reporting the story used a NBA 2K15 screen grab rather than a real-life photo of Daniels in their segment. Read More »

Jared Sullinger, Sean Rooks

Jared Sullinger isn’t exactly a high-flier. So we’re not sure what he was thinking when electing to challenge shot-blocking extraordinaire Nerlens Noel at the rim. We’re hardly the only ones, either. Evan Turner Compares Himself To Jesus In Return To Phildelphia

Evan Turner

It seems Evan Turner‘s return to Philadelphia was similar to Beatles first coming over to America, with girls “fainting” and Turner getting his “hand kissed by people” before the game. Kyle Korver, Alexey Shved

We’re still only a quarter of the way through the 2014-15 NBA season and haven’t even reached Christmas, but Kyle Korver is having perhaps the greatest season shooting the ball from beyond the arc in NBA history. Through 20 games, Korver is tied for the most made 3-pointers in the NBA, AND he’s leading the league in 3-point shooting percentage, connecting on over 55 percent of his 5.4 attempts from distance this season. K.J. McDaniels

Coming off their first win of the season on Wednesday, the Philadelphia 76ers faced a daunting task to make it two in a row, as they faced the Oklahoma City Thunder with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook back together on the court Friday night. Marco Belinelli had three dunks last season. We don’t need to check the video; there’s no way any of them were as good as this one.
