You know we like to take care of you guys, and today you’re in for a treat. We’ve teamed up with The Mars Reel to giveaway a pair of autographed kicks from John Wall, as well as his autographed jersey. Yes, you read that right, so no need to go back and re-read the sentence again. We had John sign them at Capital Punishment in the locker room after the game, and he wants them in your hands. After checking out the Reebok ZigTech Slash designed by top high school recruit (and John Wall‘s close friend) Quincy Miller, peep the version customized by Miller’s future Baylor teammate, Deuce Bello. Wonder if he’ll try and wear these during the McDonald’s All-American Game… Read More »
The last time Reebok had a limited edition release of the Reebok ZigTech Slash for John Wall, you could say things got a little crazy. Tomorrow morning, they’re doing it again, this time releasing 12 pairs of the limited edition “All-Star” colorway of the shoe designed by Dylan Stratton. And after tonight’s 12-point and record 22-assist MVP performance in the Rookie Challenge, you might want to get in line now. Read More »
After checking out the Reebok ZigTech Slash designed for John Wall‘s All-Star Weekend debut, it appears other people have been taking advantage of the option to customize their kicks. Most notably, top high school recruit (and Wall’s friends) Quincy Miller. Maybe it’s the Baylor colorway (where he’s headed next year), or maybe it’s his “Miller Time” signature detailed on the back, but either way I could get down. Check ‘em out: Read More »

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that John Wall has been as good – if not better – than advertised. Look no further than his monstrous 25-point (all in the second half!), 8-dime demolition of Philly’s backcourt Tuesday night in D.C. If not for the comic book-like dunks coming out of Blake Griffin on a nightly basis, the ROY talk would be all John Wall, all the time.
Here’s how it happens: Someone reads a post or a tweet, which leads to a call or a text, resulting in you sleeping outside in the street for a pair of sneakers. Think it’s crazy? Think again. After the Knicks/Wizards game at MSG Friday night, I headed over to the Foot Locker on 34th Street to check if anyone was waiting outside for the kicks I told you about earlier today. And there were. With only 12 pairs available worldwide of a shoe John Wall will only wear once, as soon as NYC’s most avid collectors caught wind of the release, they left work, packed their supplies and setup shop. These are their stories.
