Today’s Smack had the latest shot that Shaq has fired at Dwight Howard (The Diesel been talking trash about Dwight since ’09).
Dwight isn’t about to get bullied by O’Neal this time though, and he came right back at Shaq after Lakers practice yesterday. Read More »

We’d give you a backstory or context or explanation if there was one, but there just isn’t. So take this for what it is, which is Shaq goofing off in the only way he knows how. Walking through traffic wearing only his underwear. According to the crude cell phone video, it’s part of “The Comedy Shaq Tour,” but that pretty much describes his entire life since he became a fixture in the public eye. Read More »

It’s a tired debate at this point, but one that we’ll continue to chase until the next great NBA player comes along: Michael Jordan or LeBron James? LeBron’s career is hardly finished, but now that he’s grabbed that elusive NBA title, the comparisons have been flying in and players, coaches and fans have been weighing in. Jim Boeheim, who was an assistant coach on the 2012 gold medal winning USA basketball team, saw LeBron first hand, and it shook up his pre-conceived notion of the greatest player ever debate. The Chris Paul drama has touched on the fact that the New Orleans Hornets do not have a true owner – the NBA owns them. David Stern has repeatedly said that he wants to keep the Hornets in New Orleans and is only interested in selling the team to buyers who will do just that. Read More »

I know what you’re thinking. Just another nickname after the Big Shaquistion arrived in Cleveland? Wrong. In addition to being LeBron’s muscle on the court, Shaq is trying to be a good, concerned citizen off of it. According to The Plain Dealer, the 7-1 center has applied to become a special deputy with the right to carry a gun and make arrests. Read More »

While it’s been speculated for weeks, a source in Cleveland is saying that the Cavs have finally signed Leon Powe. One of my favorite Celtics (if not the favorite) for the past couple years, if Powe can recover from the torn ACL in his left knee, he could be the X-factor Cleveland was looking to add this summer. Maybe it’s just a lack of good summer programming and the end of NBA League Pass until the start of next season, but I’m extremely excited for Shaq‘s new show. And if you happen to be in Ambridge, Pennsylvania tomorrow night, you can catch a glimpse of Shaq battling it out on the football field with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for free.
