He shot better than 44 percent in both those campaigns, and the Kings expect him to make an impact from beyond the arc after they finished 27th in the league in three-point shooting percentage last season. Sources tell Comcast Sportsnet Northwest Damian Lillard has accepted the NBA’s invitation to participate in the 2014 Dunk Contest, and he’s mulling their offer to also participate in the three-point shootout earlier in the night.
