NBA Rookies: My Pick For Rookie of the Year

While I was at the NBA Rookie Photo Shoot in August, I was able to get up with all 40 NBA rookies in attendance and ask them each five questions. All 30 first rounders were there (except No. 17 Kevin Seraphin who was getting his visa), as well as 10 second round picks and undrafted Jeremy Lin. Watch as they tell DimeTV who their pick is for Rookie of the Year.

Dime Q&A: Quincy Acy Is Ready To Shock The Big 12

After going up against the likes of Anthony Randolph and Willie Warren in high school, Quincy Acy took his explosive game to Baylor. Since then, the 6-7, 225-pound junior forward has established himself as one of the best in-game dunkers in the Big 12 – recording 10 dunks in one game against Texas last year. In an exclusive Dime Q&A, we sat down and talked with Acy about Baylor, Texas basketball and how he learned to dunk. Read More »

DimeTV: Clippers Cali Swag District

For Clippers fans, there’s one phrase that is a staple in their vocabulary: “There’s always next season.” Thankfully, that time is now. Yesterday at Clippers Media Day, I got a chance to chat with four of the young guns that will be supporting rookie Blake Griffin this season, and you could tell that the expectations are high. Check it out.

The Biggest Wild Card In The Western Conference

Blake Griffin

The 2009-10 season for Clipper Nation was one to bury deep in the depths of forgotten memories, where most seasons for the Clips consider home. The team went a disappointing 29-53 during last year’s campaign, and once again was an NBA wasteland as the team was in the lower half of the NBA’s attendance. Although we all expect mediocrity and a trip to the Lottery in June, this year will be different. This year, the Clippers will make some noise in the West and bid for a playoff berth. Read More »

Top 5 Biggest NBA Draft Winners

When I was leaving Madison Square Garden last night two things were running through my mind: 1) I needed to get some food in my body, and 2) The Celtics are going to have the best defensive backcourt in the League. But as with any Draft Night, no everyone goes home happy. For every Gordon Hayward and Paul George, there are guys like Tiny Gallon, who sat idly in the stands at the WaMu Theater waiting to hear their name called. But this post is all about the winners, so without further ado, here are the Top 5 NBA Draft Winners from last night. Read More »

Rodrigue Beaubois (photo. Nicky Woo)

What makes the regular season and first and second rounds of the NBA Playoffs so good is that you can usually rely on at least one game every night. But once we hit the Conference Finals, NBA Finals, and the offseason, there is just less basketball to watch. This is why I savor things like the NBA Draft Combine, Summer League, and the World Championships/Olympics. Read More »
